The weekend of the Hungaricums was considered successful
The first Hungarikum weekend has ended in the Buda Castle. During the four days of the program, approximately nine thousand people visited the event and become acquanted with 41 Hungaricums.
In addition to the Tokaji wines and pálinkas, the sausages and salamis were the most popular hungaricums. But the visitors also loved attractions and specialties such as the 100-year-old soda maker machine or the pálinka ice cream.
“The main aim of the event is fulfilled. Lots of families, many foreign tourists visited our event, which will be held again next year “- Pap Krisztián, organizer and founder of the Magyar Ízek Alapítvány (Foundation of Hungarian Flavours) emphasized.
The event will be held again next year, where the new hungaricums, including the Szerencsi chocolate will also be introduced.
