GS1 standard elements and the EKÁER system
Several elements in the GS1 system of retail standards have already proved their cost- and process-efficiency in practice. This is the reason why GS1 Hungary and the Electronic Freight Goods Tracking System (EKÁER) decided to join forces for the benefit of companies: GS1 standard elements and solutions are capable of helping companies in complying with EKÁER regulations. Firms which already use these standard elements can introduce the system cheaper and more easily, while those which don’t use them yet can benefit from adopting a multi-use solution. EDI messages based on the GS1 standards (ORDERS, INVOIC, DESADV, RECADV, etc.) are already being used by millions of businesses all over the world. GS1 standard elements can form the basis of providing the authorities with the necessary transport information in detail. In addition to this, GS1 Hungary can also assist partners in finding the service providers they need for the implementation of the Electronic Freight Goods Tracking System.
