The Central Statistical Office (CSO), reported about results surpassing the previous expectations: the gross domestic product grew by 2.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year in the second quarter, after a 0.9 percent rise in the first quarter. That exceeded analysts expectations of 2.1 percent. However the KSH in addition to the “raw” numbers, also published the cleaned off the effects; Accordingly, growth was 1.7 percent in the second quarter, compared to the same period in 2015.
