Last year 13 percent of the studied advertisings were unlawful

During last year's overall control on advertising, the National Consumer Protection Authority (NFH) examined 2039 advertisements. In 269 cases (13 percent) infringements were identified – the NFH told MTI on Tuesday.

The controls covered 1880 devices suitable for advertising. 14 percent of them reported offending advertisings – he added.

They highlighted that the authorities examined both the street, shop window advertisings as well as ads in newspapers, magazines, leaflets, newspapers and advertisements on the Internet television and radio. (MTI)
