0.2-percent inflation rate in April
In April 2016 consumer prices rose 0.2 percent on average from the April 2015 level. In comparison with April 2015, food prices augmented by 0.9 percent. Seasonal product prices elevated by 14.2 percent. Pork’s price dropped 17.8 percent and milk became 9.2 percent cheaper. Alcoholic drink and tobacco product prices grew by 2.3 percent. Services were provided for 1.6 percent more, but household energy cost 0.1 percent less than in the base period. Motor fuels got 10.8 percent cheaper. Compared with March 2016, consumer prices were up 0.8 percent and food prices climbed 0.8 percent.
