FAO: cattle disease spreads fast
The lumpy skin disease among cattle is spreading very fast. The disease in recent weeks has reached Serbia, Albania and Montenegro, and can even appear in Hungary – the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) drew the attention on Monday in Belgrade where international veterinary experts met.
According to the communication, Andriy Rozstalnyy, FAO’s animal production and health expert said that the disease appeared in Greece late last year. Since then outbreaks were reported in Bulgaria and Macedonia as well. (MTI)
