A bakery was aught again, due to the online cash registers
The inspectors of the National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) held traffic counting controls at a foreign-owned bakery and checked the number and value of sales from the morning to late night. The online cash registers of the bakery reported fourfold tornover than average. An investigation was initated against the company – the NAV announced.
The foreign owned company is continuously loss-making, and paying the minimum amount of tax payable rarely, despite the high price of its pastries. The inspectors compared the tax returns from the datas of the online cash registers. To get a picture of the actual traffic, the auditors personally supervised all employees from early morning until late night to type the correct items to the cash machines.
