Distillate tax ticket to come
The institution of legal pálinka distilling will remain; the private distilling will be burdened with minimal cost and administration burden – the head of department of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) announced on Tuesday at the Grape, Wine, Pálinka Sub-Committee meeting of the National Assembly’s Agriculture Committee.
Palotai Kinga – when presented the changes in connection with the excise law – said that the distillate tax ticket will be introduced. A tax ticket will cost 700 HUF, and a minimum of five per year, and no more than 86 pieces can be bought of it from the customs authorities. A tax ticket entitles the private distiller to produce a liter of spirits. (MTI)
