Magazine: Can companies have conscience?
Social responsibility, sustainability, environmental protection – sometimes I feel that these values have been ‘eaten’ by business, they are nothing but mere decoration on the walls of company offices, just part of the PR. It seems to me there aren’t enough colleagues who can see good examples and action instead of words. I firmly believe that if a company’s owner or management wants to help others credibly, then this attitude becomes part of the corporate culture and permeates everyday life. Now that the end of the year is approaching, let’s look into our soul and ask ourselves: is our conscience clear, do we really want to help others? I am sure that by relying on just codes of conduct and management systems all good causes remain alibi activities only.
