Mfor.hu: an international comparison about the lowest earnings
In Hungary, the proportion of workers who work for less money than the poverty threshold, (ie 50 percent of the average income) was 7.2 percent, while in Austria 7.8 percent, 7.3 percent in France – mfor.hu descvribes the data of the OECD.
According to the article the proportion is 6.7 percent in Norway, 4.7 percent in the Czech Republic, 8 percent in Slovakia, and 9.2 percent in Poland. In Europe, the worst dat came from Greece, where 15.8 percent of the workers earn less than the 50 percent of the average income. (MTI)
