The Bakers’ Association does not see any way to decrease the price of bread
According to the Fidesz because of the cheaper price of fuel, the price of bread should be reduced, however the leader of the Bakers’ Association says that they are not in a position currently to reduce the price of bakery products.
Septe József, president of the Bakers’ Association told at a press conference – held after the negotiations with Rogán Antal, Fidesz faction leader – that the current cost structure does not allow them to reduce the price of bakery products.
He noted that the price of gasoline is only about 3 percent in the 18 to 20 percent of the logistical costs of baking industry. (MTI)
