The Nébih tested special salts
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) tested special salts – for example, iodinated, fluorinated or reduced sodium content salts. As the result of the investigation public proceedings were initated in 40 out of 45 cases – the food safety authority told MTI on Thursday.
According to the information, the food business received warnings in 32 cases, while in case of eight products a total of about half a million HUF fines were imposed by the professionals. Several items had to be withdrawn from circulation as well. (MTI)
